Understanding what we do and how we do it!

Here at Custom Fittings we make every effort to meet the demands of our customers. This is apparent in the ever growing stock range of products or as the company name implies, we have the ability to customise any hose fittings, pipe fittings or adaptors to meet customer requirements. Whether it be manufacturing to your drawings or reverse engineering a sample fitting. We can meet any requirement, be it surface finish of a bore or sealing face to a specific material. Having the ability to step outside the norm has earned us a reputation for being the go to supplier for bespoke and specialist hose fittings, pipe fittings and adaptors.

Achieve what you want and accurately!

Manufacturing to a fully dimensioned drawing is the easiest way of meeting your requirements exactly as there will be clear dimensions and tolerances to follow. Manufacturing to sample is a tried and tested way of replicating products when a drawing is not possible, this method of reverse engineering is something we have a lot of experience with and coupling this with a bit of good old industry know how we have been able to reproduce countless amounts of bespoke adaptors for our global customer base.

Do you require a better surface finish?

The surface finish of a product is often very important, any sealing face will require a good surface finish, usually Ra32µin or better to ensure a good seal is possible either using a Bonded Seal (Dowty Seal), ‘O’ Ring or a material cone. Often the bore of a hose fitting or adaptor requires having a specific surface finish. This is specified by the customer and is dependent upon the application being used. The food and beverage industry and healthcare industries often require fittings to have a specific surface finish in the bore to prevent any contamination. This is where hygienic hose fittings can be used. Alternatively you can have any of our standard products manufactured with a specific finish in the bore.
